Bed & Breakfast Insurance – Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you offer this Bed & Breakfast insurance program?

This specialty Bed & Breakfast program is available in Tennessee, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin through a highly rated Midwest regional admitted carrier.

I have antique furniture at my bed & breakfast. Am I covered if there's a loss?
The policy would cover antiques at acquisition cost (receipts for antiques showing purchase cost required).

If you would like additional coverage we have a Fine Arts Floater available. We would need a professional appraisal verifying the replacement cost.

We offer a car service to transport our guests. Is this covered?
If you personally own the van or car, you are covered if you have non-owned and hired auto coverage.

If the bed and breakfast owns the van or car, coverage would extend under your business auto.

If you have an outside transportation service, your non-owned and hired auto coverage will protect your business.

What's included in your guest usage of recreation equipment?
We automatically include bicycles owned by your bed & breakfast, tennis courts, and swimming pools (locked fences, marked depths, no diving boards or slides, and signs that say no life guard on duty.)

Please list all activities on your questionnaire and it will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

For example, if your bed and breakfast is on a farm and you offer corn mazes or other agritainment activities, we have additional coverages available so that you are properly protected.

I run a seasonal hunting lodge. Am I covered?

This Bed and Breakfast Insurance policy does not cover seasonal lodging or hunting activities.

However, we do have a specialized package just for Hunting Lodges in Tennessee, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Do you offer coverage for inns, motels, and hotels?

We have a program for inn, motel and hotel services in Tennessee, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
